ENGLISH WINE WEEK 2025

​For us, English Wine Week is all about encouraging people to make the switch and drink English wine. Whether that be by visiting a vineyard for fun, toasting a special occasion with a local wine or pairing English wine with your fish and chips or Sunday roast, we hope you can create your own traditions with English wine.

What's so good about English wine?

Our cool climate produces wines with vibrant acidity, natural balance, and refreshing complexity, all while often being lower in alcohol. Thanks to a longer growing season, our grapes stay on the vine longer, developing rich flavours without becoming overly ripe.
As well as this, English wine is in a unique position to push boundaries and defy convention. While Traditional Method Sparkling wine put us on the map, a spirit of innovation continues to drive us forward.
Lastly, with more and more English wine being produced, it's easier than ever to enjoy homegrown wines. From vine to bottle, follow the story and savour the taste of local craftsmanship.
 

English Wine Week 2026 at Huxbear Vineyard​

We will be kicking off English Wine Week on Saturday 20th June by attending the IEWA English Wine Fair at Avery's Wine Cellar in Bristol.

We will also be opening our Field Bar for wine flights, wine by the bottle or by the glass. In addition to our wines, we will have our beers and a small selection of soft drinks and bar snacks available to purchase.

Opening Hours

Saturday 20th - 12-6pm

Sunday 21st - 12-4pm

Thursday 25th to Saturday 27th - 12-6pm

Sunday 28th - 12-4pm​

For a perfect celebratory visit, why not per-order a Sparkling Wine Picnic for 2 to enjoy in the vineyard or field bar (must be ordered at least 48 hours prior to your visit).

Throughout the week we will be running our vineyard tours (with tasting of 6 wines). Tours need to be pre-booked here.
