Huxbear
Vineyard, Winery & Microbrewery
Planted back in 2007 by owners Ben and Lucy Hulland, Huxbear Vineyard is a family run Devon wine estate producing low intervention, estate grown, award-winning still and sparkling wines in the Teign Valley, just outside Chudleigh.
This South Devon vineyard, winery and microbrewery is fully off grid running almost entirely off solar power. Winery methods have been adapted to keep energy usage to a minimum and produce wine in a sustainable way.

Fear and Loathing in the West Country
A blog about the trials and tribulations of making wine in England by Ben Hulland, FdSc Wine Production and Winemaker, Vineyard Manager and Co-Owner at Huxbear Vineyard.
We invite you to immerse yourself in the world of Huxbear. Set in the picturesque countryside of Devon, this is the story of our vineyard & winery throughout the changing seasons.
Whether you're a wine aficionado or simply curious about the process from vine to glass, our blog delivers a down-to-earth narrative of English vine-growing and winemaking.
